2020 to Present, Tri Glide Hitch

Very Good Hitch. Very Easy to Install. ONLY thing is the Safety Chain Holes need to be drilled a little Bigger. I didn't do that On my first one I Bought from you, so the second one I drilled the two Holes out Bigger and the Safety Chain U Hook fits perfect

Looks like a great product. Installed it today on my 2024 Triglide ultra. Did not take long and was very easy. I was hoping with the ball installed that the trunk door would not hit the ball. I am using this hitch most of the time with a rack. So I took the ball off and installed a bolt and nut. Now I don't have to worry about the ball. I will occasionally pull a trailer so I will need to be careful.

This is a heavy duty hitch. Which makes me wonder why it's only rated for a 50 lb. tongue weight for your trailer. There isn't any place to put your safety chains unless you put on a carabiner in the two holes in the hitch. This would be OK except you have to crawl under the trike in order to attach your chains each time. It takes two hands to attach the chains which means you are on the ground and since it's under the trike you have to do it by feel. I also ordered the wiring harness to go with the hitch. It's even worse then the design of the hitch. Instead of using the color codes if the trike wiring green to green, yellow to yellow, etc... Some genius has you switching the wires around to different colors. yellow to brown, green to yellow, etc.!!! All they had to do was figure out which input wire goes where and they could have used the correct color wires to match like I did. This is a good hitch and wiring harness, it just needs to be thought out a little better. I added my own rings for the safety chains and changed the input wires around to make it a great hitch and harness. From Dale: Well, can't please everybody I guess. The tongue weight ratings are limited as much by the vehicle as by the hitch. Tongue weight presents as cargo weight on the bike/trike suspension so the 50 lb rating was determined to be a reasonable weight that would not upset the trike handling. The hitch can probably bear two or three times that weight, but we don't want to recommend or encourage towing 1,000 lbs behind anything two or three wheeled. As for the safety chain attachment location, it has to be a location on the hitch body, not a removable parts like the ball mount. Otherwise, safety chains would be pointless. And as for the wiring harness, I don't totally disagree with you there. I have asked the manufacturer for YEARS to change the color outputs to something standard and it hasn't happened. Which is why I provide extensive instructions that make it pretty simple to overcome what is actually a very small issue.

East to install looks very good on back of bike very impressed

It worked well on the CVO limited I assume it should be o k on the trike. I have it on but didn't take it 4 a ride yet . Need wiring on next before i take a test ride.

Ordered because told they best there was but wish the upper ball mount was chrome

Hitch is great, except the need for an anti rattle is needed.
