![The version of the Harley trailer wiring kit operates as a 5-wire on 14-15 Ultra CVOs that have turn signals on the fender next to the brake light. It does not require a CAN-BUS module for operation. Yes, the label on the picture says "4 wire" kit. That's because on all other Ultras, it is a 4 wire kit. But it works as a 5 wire kit on the CVO.](https://cdn11.bigcommerce.com/s-9iunvqfllb/images/stencil/300x600/products/321/769/harley-trailer-wiring-harness_LRG__11907.1549718436.jpg?c=2)

This US-made trailer wiring kit powers the lights on a trailer while protecting your bike's wiring system and, on newer bikes, the engine control module. This trailer wiring kit fits Harley touring bikes from 2014 to present including the Electra Glide, Road Glide, Road King, Street Glide and Tri-Glide.
Important fitment notes:
1) If you have a 2014+ Harley touring bike with a pair of AMBER turn signals on the rear fender, you want our CVO kit.
2) If you have a 2023+ bike without a TourPak, you will want to use the ezCAN for Harley. Newer bikes w/o a TourPak do not have the plug-in point that this kit uses.
Choose either the 4-wire or 5-wire kit, depending on how your trailer lights are configured. If you aren't sure which you need, check out this video that explains the differences between the two systems.
This was a perfect match for my Trl-Glide. Just follow the instructions and you will have your trailer lit up and running down the rode.
Very happy with my order.
Perfect was exactly as described life saver directions.
Was very easy to install. Great directions that were very readable
Finally got to install the kit on my Tr-Glide. Perfect length for the install. Work's perfectly!
Installed it and it doesn't work. I have power into the converter and no power out. --- From Dale: I published this review to point out that if you have an issue with a harness, you should contact me. I never heard from this customer and after receiving this review, I reached out and didn't hear back. There are a couple of identical connectors on current Harleys and it is entirely possible that the harness was plugged into the wrong point on the bike. I guess my point is that if you don't have an understanding of wiring kits, you should either have someone else do the installation or ask for help. I sell a few hundred of these each year and I encounter maybe two or three true issues that are not related to a faulty component. 99.99% of issues are related to how it was installed.
I purchased this wiring harness for my 2016 Ultra Limited. The plug and play is worth it. You still need to buy and splice final connections to an extended flat wire plug for your trailer. Confirm wiring with a tester before final spicing per instructions. It wasn't color for color. Routing and hiding the wiring takes some doing. I notched part of my seat underneath so the wiring wouldn't get pinched between the seat and top of fender. Very satisfied.
Great product. Easy Install with help of the paperwork and videos.
