The version of the Harley trailer wiring kit operates as a 5-wire on 14-15 Ultra CVOs that have turn signals on the fender next to the brake light. It does not require a CAN-BUS module for operation. Yes, the label on the picture says "4 wire" kit. That's because on all other Ultras, it is a 4 wire kit. But it works as a 5 wire kit on the CVO.

Description

This US-made trailer wiring kit powers the lights on a trailer while protecting your bike's wiring system and, on newer bikes, the engine control module. 

Most 2014+ Harley touring bikes will use the standard 2014-23 Harley trailer wiring kit. These models have two red turn signals on the rear that also function as brake.

However, there are some 2014 to 2023 models that are wired differently. For example, 2014-15 Harley CVOs have amber rear turn signals and separate red brake. Many models of 2014+ Road King have the amber/red signals. Bikes built for international markets also may have amber turns and a separate brake on the rear.
