This is the 5-wire version of the universal trailer wiring kit. It is for trailers that have separate brake lights and turn signals.

Description

This US-made trailer wiring kit powers the lights on a trailer while protecting your bike's wiring system and, on newer bikes, the engine control module. This kit can be used on most bikes that don't have a plug-and-play kit available.

If your trailer has brake lights that operate separately from the turn signals, choose the 5-wire configuration (default). If your trailer has combined turns and brakes, choose the 4-wire option.

    Universal Trailer Harness

    I installed this on my Yamaha Venture Tour Deluxe. This Universal Trailer Harness product was great! Everyrthing was in the box and delivered early. The customer service was excellent and dale answered my questions and helped me get the wiring harness set up and installed correctly!

    awesome light kit

    Wiring harness for motorcycle

    Really pleased with this product, good instructions and diagram, was able to install myself, had one question which was answered promptly by Dale. Great company with excellent customer service and top quality products. I am now able to enjoy my motorcycle with many more options now that I can pull a trailer or camper.

    Universal wiring harness

    Installed was easy on my 2004 Yamaha Royal Star Venture with the included directions and how to video on the website. It didn't hurt that the demo bike on the video was the same modle as mine. Harness is of good quality and works as it should. This is the my first time purchasing from Open Road Outfitters, shipping was fast and will use them again in the future.

    universal Wiring harness

    This is the second bike I have install this on. It is intimidating at first glance, but if you read thru the instructions and watch his video its pretty straight forward. Both times i got it correct the first time! and I am an electrical idiot!

    Universal Trailer Harness

    Quick and easy to install on BMW K1600. Much smaller than other isolators making for a neat installation in the limited space available on the K1600 under the seat.
